Design proposal for "Schenley Park Entrance" competition by Carlton Strong and L. C. Dillenback (Pittsburgh). Carlton Strong designed the first modern apartment buildings in Pittsburgh, Bellefield Dwellings. His other works include buildings at Seton Hill College, Saint Vincent’s College and other schools and churches around the Pittsburgh area. Dillenback became a professor at the University of Illinois and then went to Syracuse where he is credited with reviving the architecture department and opening it to modern architecture.
