Design proposal for "Schenley Park Entrance" competition by Raymond M. Hood (New York). Hood graduated from MIT in 1903 and from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1911. His first major project was the Chicago Tribune Competition design which he won along with Mead Howells. His firm Hood & FouilÂhoux was involved in several major projects in New York and Chicago. And Hood himself was very active in the architectural community.
