Grant Street After Hump Cut

View of the east side of Grant Street, taken from the corner of Fourth Avenue. The image shows an area that the Hump Cut, which began in 1909 and was completed in 1913, affected. It changed the gradient of Grant Street, Diamond Street, and Oliver, Fifth, Sixth, Webster and Wylie Avenues. The view shows several businesses on the street including Friedman Reality Co., Geo D. Stinson Barber Shop: Scalp Treatment a Specialty, a printing office, and a doctor's office.
