Maine Memorial

View of part of the Maine Memorial located in North Side Park. This portion of the memorial is dedicated to Lieutenant William Jenkins who was from the North Side, and reads: "To Lieutenant Friend Wm. Jenkins. Born Allegheny, June 26th 1865. Died on the Maine, Feb. 15 1898. Student of the University of Pittsburgh, Class of 1883." [For Townley].
