Larimer Avenue Bridge from the west end looking north. A billboard on the far left of the photograph advertises Kaufmann's as "The Big Store" with "Everything Under the Sun." "The Big Store" refers to Kaufmann's flagship store, located in downtown Pittsburgh. Kaufmann's was founded in Pittsburgh in 1871 and was absorbed by Macy's in 2006. Edgar Kaufmann was famous for later commissioning Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, located in West Virginia.
