Houseboat at Intersection

Washed up by the flood waters, a houseboat sits at the intersection of River Avenue and Vine Street. The flood occurred over a period of four days after heavy rains, culminating with the crest of the Ohio River at 46 Feet. The 1936 Flood had far reaching effects, causing some 250 million dollars in damages and an estimated 108 fatalities.
