Heth's Run Bridge

262240cp
Built in 1914 by the City of Pittsburgh, Stanley L. Roush architect. The Heth's Run Bridge crosses Heth's Run between Baker Street and Highland Park. Stanley L. Roush used white limestone in the form of some 360 carved balusters and 14 urns in decorating the balustrades, shown here. Today, large sections of the northern stone balustrade have crumbled and fallen into the ravine of Heth's Run. The Southern balustrade was removed and replaced with aluminum railing.
