View of a cofferdam, an enclosure within the river constructed to allow water to be displaced for the purpose of creating a dry work environment, constructed when a forty-eight inch steel line is being installed across the river, north of the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad tracks, on the south bank of the Monongahela River.
