Children Gather With Hartzell Memorial Fountain

20100120 cp 0092
A dozen children gather around the Hartzell Fountain on Federal Street near West Park; one little girl even carries her baby doll. The fountain reads "For Man, Beast, and Bird," and was dedicated and placed on Federal Street in 1910. It was moved to Market Square in the 1950s and again relocated in the 1980's to what was then the corner of Montgomery and Federal Street.
