Entrance to Allegheny General Hospital on East North Avenue, as seen from East Park. The hospital was chartered in October 18, 1882, in Allegheny City and is bordered by East North Avenue, Stockton Avenue, and Sandusky Street. It opened for patients on February 15, 1886.
