Rough location is the city side of the Fort Pitt Bridge, prior to construction. Cars and people suggest late forties or early fifties, but pre-1956, when Ft. Pitt bridge construction began. Point Bridge visible in distance closed when Ft. Pitt opened in 1960 but wasn't demolished until 1970.
I think I tagged a photo of the "Ship Hotel" on The Allegheny in the 30s or 40s, sign said "Pork and Ham BBQ" not "Meals" but obviously the same boat. Anyone know anything about it?
Also, never knew the old Alcoa (now Bayer) sign on Mt. Washington was once and Iron City ad...
