New Grenada Theater

The New Granada Theater at Centre Avenue and Devilliers Street. Built in 1927, the theater was the place for African Americans to gather to hear Jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Cab Calloway, and Duke Ellington among many others perform.
