Manchester Bridge Construction

1215cp
Distant view of the North Side from Point State Park, looking north across the Allegheny River and showing Manchester Bridge piers under construction. A sign for Ferry Street can be seen to the left of the wooden stairway. This bridge replaced the Union Bridge which existed between Allegheny City and The Point from 1874 until 1907.
