An upward view of the Boulevard of the Allies and Duquesne University's administrative building. This building was originally home to the Pittsburgh Catholic College by the Holy Ghost Fathers which opened on October 1, 1878. The location of the building is on top of a bluff, also known as Boyd's Hill, overlooking the Monongahela River. In 1911, the school officially changed its name to Duquesne University. The old school building, now known as "Old Main," currently serves as the administration building for the university.
