This would make sense with the city photographer identifying Diamond and Cherry Way in association with this image. On a current Google map Diamond Street and Cheery Way do not intersect one another. But on the historic map they do, since Diamond Street then is present day Forbes. But I sill can't place a specific point on what part of current Forbes the photo is showing. I will keep looking...
