View of repaving on Craig Street, looking towards Fifth Avenue. Duquesne Gardens can be seen in the background. When it opened in 1899, Duquesne Gardens was billed as the biggest ice skating rink in the world. It served as an ice-skating rink, indoor sports arena, and theater until it was demolished in 1956.
