    The described location does not seem right... The built-up nature of the street beyond means it must be Penn, not 34th (as the "west corner" suggests, but the buildings to the right behind the streetcar would therefore be sitting in the middle of the future Doughboy Square... not possible. Also that corner has a significant slope and this appears level.

    Wonder if the cross-street was noted incorrectly?

    The cross walk isn't really built up at 34th and Penn. This picture also matches up with this one also at 34th and Penn:

    Aha... I think you're right. I hadn't considered that as what I think you've tagged (and this is) is the SOUTH corner of Penn and 34th.
